How we get paid
How an adviser is paid decides whether he can afford to tell you the truth. This page sets out, line by line, where our income comes from and where it does not.
This page currently covers two lines of business: doctoral study and international property.
Line one
Doctoral study: we are paid a recruitment fee by the university side.
YUDA is Golden Gate University’s admissions partner in Taiwan, working through the upGrad platform. Once a student enrols, YUDA receives a recruitment fee from upGrad.
That means our income on this line depends on whether you enrol. So treat what we tell you about entry requirements, course structure, credits and timelines as organised information, not as a promise. Admission is decided by the university, and every page of ours says we do not guarantee it. Whether the programme suits you is your judgement to make, and worth verifying with the university directly.
Line two
International property: our only income is the research fee you pay us.
On property research in Dubai, Bali and Singapore, our income comes entirely from the research and due diligence fees our clients pay. It has no connection to whether you transact, or for how much.
What we charge for
- Market research and area analysis reports — per report
- Due diligence and data verification on a single asset — per report
- 1-on-1 consultations — by time
- G8.AI verification reports — per report
What we do not take
- No commission, rebate or consideration of any kind from developers, sales agents, brokers or any counterparty
- No fee calculated on transaction value
- We never handle client funds
- No payment tied to a particular transaction, whoever pays it
Why build it this way? Because only an adviser whose income is unconnected to the deal can afford to say “the data behind this one does not hold up — don’t buy it.” For someone paid on commission, that sentence is a refusal of his own income.
Why this page exists
You cannot tell from the look of a report whether its author has a position.
Two reports, same layout, same charts, same professional tone — the author of one gets paid if you buy, the author of the other does not. The content will not tell you which is which. The one checkable clue is who pays the author.
So we put it here, rather than on page seventeen of an engagement letter. If what is on this page ever changes, our income structure has changed, and you should re-weigh what we tell you.
YUDA International Asset Consulting Co., Ltd. is registered in Taiwan for management consultancy. We are not a licensed real estate agency and do not act as broker, sales agent or intermediary in property transactions; we are not a licensed securities investment consultancy, and nothing we provide constitutes investment advice.
